Amate il thrash metal? Amate il punk hardcore? Amate il noise rock? Eccovi gli Oozing Wound, trio di Chicago arrivato con "High Anxiety" al quarto album. Per niente raffinati, con le scarpe infangate di sludge e il cervello stoner, gli Oozing Wound sono uno stravagante mix di Big Business, High On Fire e Unsane. Riff pestoni e "groove", chitarre fischianti, urla incazzate e sarcastiche, titoli come "Birth of a Flat Earther" e "Surrounded by Fucking Idiots". Questo è puro white trash americano. Adatti a tutti coloro che passano i pomeriggi in skate, fumano erba e vanno in giro con il war jacket anche in inverno.
